Termites & Commonwealth Crisis!!!

      Last Sunday we did pest control of our house. Being a 100 years old structure, our house mainly stands on wooden blocks & pillars. Despite of being such a old building it is still strong & standing firmly. But one main problem of having a house standing on wooden pillars is of TERMITES which burrows it from inside making it hollow & weak. And therefore we have to do regular inspection of our house to search if there's any place infected with TERMITES.
      This Commonwealth Crisis just reminds me of TERMITES. Corrupt Indian politicians & officials can be termed as Human Termites who are constantly burrowing the growth of our country. The money which is given to them for doing constructions and creative development is being utilized for filling their own bellies & personal bank balance.
      Collapsed bridge, filth & stain in hotels, leakage in the roofs of stadium & other venues, dog footprints on bedsheets, snake found in the hotel room & all such kind of embarrassing things are just because of the carelessness of these TERMITES. On an addition, Indian security measures are also not perfect. Anyone can come and plant explosives in the public places making it unsafe.

      Being an proud Indian, I took these things very seriously & it actually hurt me. Many good athletes took their names back fearing of their security and hygiene. On the occasion of such an important sports event, we had to look down because of these HUMAN TERMITES. Where do we stand in the race of developing nations? Just think about it!
